SCHOOL FOR THE POOREST OF POOR CHILDREN
The new school year will begin on June 12th. We expect the number of students to increase from 155 (who were enrolled for the 2008-2009 school year) to 175! Through Immanuel's support, every child receives a free education, school supplies and clothing. We hope to someday be able to feed all of the children with a warm meal each day.

NEW CLASSROOMS TO BE ADDED TO SCHOOL
In order to provide space for 6th and 7th standard students, additional classrooms are currently being built on top of the school. See "What's New?" for more information.

NEW COMPUTER AND SCIENCE LABS
In January, a computer lab was installed in the school. Many educational software programs were installed on each computer. Materials for a complete science lab were also purchased and set up in January. The children are LOVING these new labs!

SPONSOR A SCHOOL CHILD
For just $15/month, you can pay for a child's education. This covers the cost of books, supplies, two uniforms, socks and a pair of shoes. It also helps to pay for teacher salaries (which are between $30 and $55 a month). Currently, 104 of the children have sponsors.
