THE TAILORING CENTERS
At this time, there are 4 tailoring centers located in "house churches", people's huts, and facilities affiliated with Joyful Journey Ministries in different outlying villages. Since the ministry's inception in the fall of 2005, over 300 women have completed the training program! Once the training program has been completed, these women are able to find a job in a tailoring center or begin their trade in their own villages. Poverty is being removed, at least to some extent, especially among the women in this program. Novahu says, "In one way, it is a social work. In the other way, it is promoting the love of Jesus and the Gospel."

THE 6-MONTH TRAINING PROCESS
First, the women learn different types of stitching with needles by hand. Then they learn how to cut clothes on newspapers, because they cannot directly experiment on material. Next, they will learn how to run the sewing machines with their legs. The students will make doll-size clothes before making ladie's blouses, petticoats and children's dresses. If they stitch one blouse they would receive fifty cents or possibly one dollar.

EMROIDERY MACHINES PURCHASED
Two embroidery machines were purchased allowing women to do more detailed sewing work. These machines are in addition to the 20 regular sewing machines already purchased.
